Our Hotel

Situated in a quiet town of Playa Avellanas, the Drift Away Eco Lodge offers a perfect setting to relax, unwind, and connect with nature. The lodge is located in close proximity to some of Guanacaste’s most beautiful beaches known for great swimming and excellent surfing.

Our lodge grounds offer a lush green escape and features an outdoor pool, garden, and patio areas. Our accommodation options include rooms and villas, suitable for couples, families, and friends traveling together. All of our rooms/villas have private bathrooms, dining tables, and are outfitted with locally made furniture, accented with touches of driftwood decor.

At Drift Away Eco-Lodge we care about the environment and adhere to high sustainability standards in our day to day operations.

All rooms at the Drift Away Eco-Lodge feature memory foam mattresses, luxurious organic cotton sheets, and plush hypoallergenic feather pillows that are guaranteed to give you a good night’s rest.

The en-suite bathrooms feature hand-carved wooden sinks and are equipped with a duo-flush eco-toilets and low flow shower head. Organic cotton towels and complimentary organic biodegradable toiletries are provided for the duration of your stay. The rooms offer a Garden or Pool View and are equipped with energy efficient ACs to keep the room cool even on the hottest days.

We also have spacious pool with a beautiful, newly decorated pool deck, a screened games room/yoga studio, an open-air breakfast area, a garden, and a Juice Bar to quench your thirst.
