Heliconia Island

Come over the bridge and discover the magnificent Heliconia Island that is formed by a bifurcation in the Río Puerto Viejo. The wonderfully designed botanical garden has a lot of heliconias, but also many other flowers, plants and trees. On the porch of the four cabina’s and family apartment or in the restaurant you will find comfort and cosiness and you can enjoy the many coloured birds and the flowing river. On the edges of our small paradise there is a lot of unspoilt nature, where we made some trails.

Location:
Heliconia Island is situated between Horquetas and Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí. This is in the north east of Costa Rica on the Caribean side and it borders the Braulio Carillo National Park.

We have two cabins with fan, two cabins with airco and one family apartment.
