What Makes Hermosa Bungalows so Special?
It's the location!
Hermosa Bungalows is the perfect starting point for Costa Rica style adventures in all directions and the perfect vacation home - all in one.
Wander one way along the beach at sunset to small hotels and restaurants. In the other direction, the miles of virtually unspoiled beach lead to a turtle rescue sanctuary at the far end with just a few scattered surfers in the waves. The ocean at your doorstep is of Surf Competition standard and the sand is dark and soft. Take day trips to waterfalls, botanical gardens, rain forests, and volcanoes. Marvellously peaceful.
From Hermosa Beach it is just an eight-minute drive into the town of Jaco which has many shops and every kind of restaurant you might desire. It is buzzy and fun - but not everyone's idea of a getaway - but it is great that it is so near - and yet so far!
A 15-minute drive takes you to swanky Los Suenos with its hotel, casino, and famous yachting harbor. Quite a stunning place - but built up and not too "natural".
The Hermosa Bungalows have unblockable ocean views and the beach is less than a minute away. All this natural beauty all around and the ocean right at your doorstep - but without the traffic of jaco!
You also can enjoy the jungle and see exotic birds and other wildlife from the back row and side bungalows. Back row houses are also unique in Hermosa Bungalows, having French doors, which open onto rear decks. The additional sense of space and light that this feature gives to the house cannot be overestimated. Views from the bedrooms are spectacular and are completely missing from bungalows anywhere else in the property.
From the font and second rows there is whitewater views! Sip a drink on your veranda while you watch your kids play in the surf.
Hermosa Bungalow owners individually finish and style their properties. Many benefit from the enhancement of additional trees and flowers around the property as well as a pieces of land by the bungalows on which we have planted fruit trees, banana trees and palms.
Most veranda decks have recently been updated to teak - for a lifetime of service. We have pool chairs and umbrellas - and best of all - no dust and noise - just the ocean.
