La Quinta de Sarapiquí Country Inn is located in North Central Costa Rica, near the town of Puerto Viejo de Sarapiquí, where the central volcanic chain of mountains gives way to the Caribbean lowlands, 60 miles from San José, on the edge of the Sardinal River. La Quinta elevation is 130 meters (426 feet), the climate is tropical wet. The combination of tremendous biological diversity, confortable accommodations and easy access from San José, Arenal or Limón makes it a perfect destination. La Quinta is a small lodge with 31 rooms in bungalows, sourronded by a tropical garden rich in heliconias, gingers, orchids and flowering trees. A perfect localtion to observe local birds and flora. More than 100 of the incredible 850 bird species found in Costa Rica make up our current onsite bird list. We offer you a wide range of activities, a wimming pool, a trail that goes through the butteffly house, the frog garden, the vegetable garden and a fascinating gallery with an insect´s exhibition, archaeological and historical information on Costa Rica.
