Hotel Papa's Papalotes finished construction in 2011. Security, cleanliness and convenience with signature tall arches of the colonial architecture that favors breezy corridors. The grand balcony over looks the distant mountains and street scene of this small coastal Costa Rican pueblo. Beautiful natural lighting from early morning changes thru the day until the late afternoon sunset slips into twilight shadows. Regular visitations from passing butterflies and some wild but "semi resident" blue & grey tanagers, black & yellow tanagers and Costa Ricas national bird the Clay colored thrush. We are along the principal road to Manual Antonio so there is a-lot of foot trafic and plenty of people watching to be done from the spacious balcony. Central location, but not dead center of town.
