Costa-Rica-Family-Vacation—5-Baby-Mistakes

Ok, so this isn’t specific just to family vacations in Costa Rica, but we found this gem of an article and just had to share with all of you. If you’re here in Manuel Antonio, share this with your friends back home who have a new little one – you know they really need a vacation and maybe a nudge in the right direction.

With a minefield of mistakes out there to make, which ones can we avoid?

NOT TRAVELLING! Don’t worry about messing up your baby’s sleep patterns, jetlag etc. Life is short!

OVERPACKING. It’s unbelievable the amount of hand luggage some parents turn up to for a flight.

NOT CHECKING AHEAD WITH YOUR ACCOMMODATIONS. You never know what a hotel/guesthouse/villa has to offer unless you ask. Why schlep a travel cot halfway across the world when your hotel can provide a lovely one for you for free?

STICKING TO YOUR BABY’S ROUTINE. It’s your holiday and it’s time to relaaaaaxxx… Think about buying or borrowing buggy blackout which will make it easier for your baby to sleep whilst you go out for dinner or sit by the pool.

GOING IN CLUELESS. Seek advice from friends and on where to stay and what to do
